The coastal path at Milton Common has now reopened following resurfacing work, with more than 1km of path improved as the North Portsea Coastal Scheme nears completion after nearly 12 years of protecting the coastline.
The latest bulletin also highlights progress at Ports Creek, where embankment works are almost complete, woodland drainage improvements are taking shape, and new swales and pipe crossings are helping water flow naturally through the landscape. Plus, there’s good news for nature lovers, with wildflowers flourishing across the scheme and creating valuable habitat for pollinators.
