North Portsea Coastal Scheme update - 19 March 2025

Footpath closure at Portsbridge roundabout car park

Starting week commencing 24 March 2025 we are expecting a significant increase in heavy deliveries through our site entrance at Portsbridge roundabout car park.

Additionally, scheduled work on the slipway adjacent to the car park is set to begin therefore the footpath along the Portsbridge roundabout car park will be closed from 24 March 2025.

Diversions are in place (see map).

As essential emergency gas work currently being carried out by SGN (Southern Gas Network) is coinciding with our planned work, the temporary diversion we have put in place along the car park cannot be used.

Once the emergency gas work is completed in this area, we will be able open our temporary footbridge leading over the car park and offer a shorter diversion route.

We have been assured by SGN that the emergency work coinciding with our project is planned to be completed as soon as possible and we will update you as soon as we have a confirmed completion date from SGN.
