Tudor Sailing Club Update
Work started at Tudor Sailing Club at the beginning of July. First the upper section of the old slipway was broken out using a “pecker” mounted to an excavator. Then a row of sheet piles was installed around the edge of the new slipway.
The height of the slipway is being raised, once complete there will be a flood gate at the top of the slipway and a new surface to the landside section.
Concrete works to form the new walls either side of the slipway are currently underway. The weather has been good and the work is progressing well.
