There’s plenty of progress, with new wildlife habitats, completed walking routes and visitor facilities taking shape across the site. The latest update includes plans to plant around 5,500 saltmarsh plants at Ports Creek, helping to create habitats for wildlife while supporting future coastal restoration research.
The scheme has also seen the installation of bee posts, beetle towers and loggeries to encourage a variety of wildlife, alongside new wayfinding features celebrating local species. Meanwhile, most of the new Breedon gravel paths are now complete, with benches and picnic areas being added to create more places for residents to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
