The North Portsea Coastal Scheme is entering a new phase as landscaping and environmental improvements begin to transform completed sections of the site. Wildflower and grass planting is establishing well on the new embankments, while new trees, coastal planting and drainage features are helping create attractive spaces for people and wildlife.
Elsewhere, restoration work continues following the removal of construction routes, with new paths taking shape and progress being made on utility works at Peronne Road bridge ahead of the final section of sea defences being completed.
