The temporary footbridge, installed to minimise disruption and avoid a full closure during our works, has now been completely dismantled. A big thank you to the team, who worked through weekends and rain to reopen the bridge safely – and a week earlier than planned. The footbridge will now remain open until the scheme is fully completed in summer 2026. There may be occasional, very short closures from May to allow site vehicles to cross safely. These will operate in a level crossing style system and will last less than one minute each time. Thank you for your ongoing patience & support.
